I've got nothing to say about mass slayings by gun wielding idiots beyond that until we give up guns, and particularly automatic weapons, we're hosed as a society.
I used to scream this rant at the top of my lungs. I'm way past being hoarse. How can we possibly be shocked by these events any longer?

If the question is posed as to the top five ills that hold this country back from being great, guns may be at the top of the list. Certainly race relations, corporate greed, ignorance (lack of education) and a political dysfunction (I see it on the local level as well as nationally) are in the top five in no particular order. Guns empower criminals to subjugate the law-abiding, allows nutbags to terrorize the populace on a random basis and perpetuate the war-mongering attitude. Another "Mission accomplished".
