Why don't we just admit that it's all over in America and we're left with just trying to stick the landing?

One of the reasons being under-employed is okay...
...is that you get to go see matinees of newly released movies with a half full house on a rainy Friday afternoon.
I just got home from Burn After Reading and it's great. There's invariably a character in the Coen Brothers films who says, "fuck" a lot.
This time around it's Malkovich and he doesn't disappoint. I can't be entirely sure but I think he says it at about the 25th word in the first scene of the movie and he just keeps it cranking for an hour and forty. Fucking hilarious. Clooney is as good as he always is, Brad Pitt is wildly funny and Francis McDormand is just super.
I laughed, I cried, I wet my pants. Joel and Ethan Coen continue to be the premier film makers in America for my money.
The Dude abides.
Go. See. It.

I could not agree more, I look forward to the next Brother's work and I am going to see Burn After Reading again. I think Brad Pitt is a fitting addition to the Coen alumni and hope he works with again, hilarious.
