Krugman

The Shrill One speaks out.

Frankly, I've never understood the excuse that we're too busy on other important things at hand to investigate the reasons why we went to war in Iraq and the methods we used to extract information from these enemy combatants.

We're a nation of laws that is designed to be able to handle tasks of this scope simultaneously. let's act like it.

We haven't been a "nation of laws" since Nixon walked away from Watergate.

Laws are for little people (like me, who got arrested last year for saying fuck at an isotopes game). Their chief efficacy is to insulate the Rulers from the insults of the unruly.
