It's stuff like this that makes me want to flee the US and head for "greener" pastures. Besides short sighted stupidity and wing-nut resistance, can anybody explain to me why on earth we can't come up with a plan like this?
I mean, it's not like we need an entirely new electrical grid in these parts, right?...
