Frank Chirkinian

A name undoubtedly unknown to many of you out there in bloggy-blog land. However, to those of us who have not only played golf for decades but also watch the silly game on t.v., Frank Chirkinian was an epic force in broadcast history.

He was frequently portrayed as a colossal prick, but I suspect his demeanor was a front. His passion for the game was his greatest trait.
