Sarah Palin

Hey, remember when I predicted that Sarah Palin would become a Fox News contributor after she and Johnny Mac flew their plane into the mountain in the 2008 race?

Well, here's my next brilliant prognostication...

Sarah Palin will be the Republican nominee for President in 2012. Sneer and laugh as you may, she will win the nomination.

I kind of hope you're right. She wouldn't be able to manipulate the media the way she does now. She is charismatic, but too ignorant, too uneducated to make it though the inevitable one on one interviews with actual journalists. She can refuse to take questions or challenges from the press now, but not if she gets the nomination.

It's a sad state of affairs to think that enough Americans could support her nomination. Clearly this is solid proof of devolution.

I'd move to Canada, but it's so close to Alaska...

I respectfully disagree-- my money's on Mitt Rombot-- but I really hope you're right. She might be able to hoodwink enough refukkklicans to get the nom, but she will not be able to win the general election.
