Why don't we just admit that it's all over in America and we're left with just trying to stick the landing?

Acting!
So this might be a little intense this evening.
In lieu of rehearsal, (that's "play practice" for you, Linda G.) we're going to be at the Brook Park branch of the Cuyahoga County Library tonight performing excerpts from the play.
Why intense?...well, the 4 Marines which the play is based on were based and deployed out of the Brook Park Armory of the 325 Battalion of the Marine Corps...so Brook Park has a very special relationship with these guys, so there's that.
Secondly, we've been told that many, if not all of the folks being portrayed in the show will be coming to the play at some point, but one lady in particular, a very outspoken mother of one of the Marines, Nathan Deyarmin, will actually be at the reading tonight.
Edie Deyarmin has one of the more powerful speeches in the entire play and our fellow actor, Jill Levin, has a heavy load to carry tonight what with both playing and meeting this Marine's mother at the reading.
I'm thinking it's gonna be kind of a two-ply tissue event.
